As a not-for-profit peer-to-peer community, the class is currently under the stewardship of a small group of Firebug community experts across New Zealand and Australia who have vast personal experience and expertise in building and sailing Firebugs. They can assist you with Plan Packs, registering your Firebug and your build project wherever you are globally. Meet and contact them below.
They'll be happy to discuss the boat, arrange your Plan Pack and building instructions, arrange fittings kits or help with any other or assistance you may need during your journey.

CONTINUING THE LEGACY
Peter Tait and John Spencer's Firebug legacy is maintained by Peter's family who hold administration and IP rights for the class. They're ably supported by the building and sailing community, however they rely on the community to share knowledge and ensure the class remains accessible for the next generation of builders and sailors.
If you've been part of the global Firebug community over the years and would like to get involved with the Firebug's ongoing success, we'd love to connect with you and have you back in the community. Please contact us from the Contact page.
